What is a Cherish the Dress™ workshop?

Cherish the Dress™ is an exclusive fashion shoot workshop either in the amazing Hilton Hotel in central Manchester or in the opulent setting of Maunsel House in Somerset.

This wedding fashion shoot is designed to make the dress the star, not the victim. A shoot of beauty and elegance, wonderful light and compositional heaven. Once you have spent a day learning about light and creating your portfolio, you will be empowered to embark upon this growing genre of social photography.

Let us show you how to put the wow factor back in your images.

What you will learn:

You will learn easy-to-use repeatable systems to make your clients go wild with excitement when they see their pictures. You will receive hands-on instruction about finding and controlling ambient light and mixing it with off camera flash. You will also learn how to interact with a couple and generate a creative flow and be taught how to 'see' pictures where you may think none exist. This event is a down to earth creative session on fashion photography that will push you beyond your usual photographic comfort zone.

Who should attend?

This workshop is ideal for all professional wedding and portrait photographers wishing to expand their creative abilities to produce beautiful bridal or fashion photography. This workshop uses some advanced lighting set ups so expect to be challenged.

What you will have at the end of the day to take away:

1. Shooting in and around the location you will be producing portfolio images that you can use right away, on your website, in brochures or on your studio walls. The models we use are professionals and will be patient.

2. You will have a new repertoire of images you can shoot, and above all, access to professional image making skills that have a high repeatable value. You will have the edge over your competition and you will feel renewed excitement for bridal and fashion photography.

Cancellation Policy: As our costs for each workshop remain the same no matter how many delegates attend, please note that just like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights etc, we are unable to give any refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances. The exception to this is if we have prior notice and are able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold. In this event we will of course make a full refund or credit to you. We also reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that our costs would be higher than our income. Please therefore do not leave it until the last few weeks if you are interested in a particular date, as you may find that it has been removed!
