A masterclass in lighting interior portraits with leading photography trainer Damien Lovegrove
This March Damien Lovegrove will be holding photography training workshops in the fabulous Unser Fotostudio near Stuttgart, Germany.
There will be two types of workshops on offer: Studio Lighting and Femme Fatale
Studio Lighting
This workshop is a dedicated day of training to get the most out of studio lighting equipment. Learn to skillfully manipulate light and master the art of producing beautiful portraits time and again.
You will learn how to use hard light, soft light, key light, fill light, kickers and backlights empowering you to be able to create portraits of all styles. Learn how to control contrast, how to separate the foreground and background lighting in a shot, and how to use reflectors in beauty photography. There is no substitute for a thorough understanding of light and its application when creating portraits in the studio. This masterclass in lighting will demonstrate how studio space can be used to give you total control of your environment. The skills and the knowledge you take from this workshop will be equally valid whether you work on location or in the studio.
This workshop is recommended for portrait photographers who wish to expand their creative abilities in a studio environment. All participants should know how to use their cameras.
Femme Fatale
Damien's infamous style of feminine beauty and boudoir photography.
Using either continuous tungsten or HMI lights, Damien will show his delegates how to light and shoot boudoir/ lingerie and natural feminine beauty portraits using various lighting techniques and simple lighting modifiers. With minimal lighting equipment he will show delegates how to create beautiful interior portraits on location, that you can replicate in your clients own home. This less is more approach to beauty portraits will be a breath of fresh air.
There will be no Speedlights or big flash, just beautiful Hollywood style lighting with the 'what you see is what you get' magic that comes from continuous light sources. You will learn how to master light and composition in your photography. Marry these new skills with a better understanding of how to capture soul in an image and you will leave with an outstanding selection of images, ready to use in your portfolio or on your studio walls.

Location
The photography studio is located on the edge of the Scharnhauser Park and is surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Here there is a stunning historic building with superb contemporary interior spaces. There is plenty of room for creative ideas inside and outside.
Inside the building are four photographic studios along with a dedicated makeup and styling room. With the latest technology, modern design and a real feel-good atmosphere, the Unser Fotostudio is the perfect location for photography training.

Cancellation Policy
As our costs for each workshop remain the same no matter how many delegates attend, please note that just like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights etc, we are unable to give any refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances. The exception to this is if we have prior notice and are able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold. In this event we will of course make a full refund or credit to you. We also reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that our costs would be higher than our income. Please therefore do not leave it until the last few weeks if you are interested in a particular date, as you may find that it has been removed!
