Photography training video by Damien Lovegrove. Available as a digital HD download.
HD Download: £65
Following on from the huge success of Speedlight Mastery, 'Lighting Studio Portraits' will inform and teach photographers the most important technical skills in lighting and capturing striking 'studio' portraits. Available in high definition as a digital download.
It's important to realise that you do not need a studio to appreciate the invaluable content on this training video. Damien explains from the start that you don't need a studio, you just create your 'studio' anywhere! The right type of lighting and a simple background is all you need to start producing 'studio-style' portraits.
Damien will take you through the step by step process of how each shot is created. From where to position the lighting, which camera settings are used, how to best compose shots and what additional accessories may work to enhance the quality of the image, it is all here. Each chapter ends with the photographs and a summary of the exact settings used to create them.
By the end of the tutorial you will have the technical knowledge, understanding and creative confidence to reproduce the same shots for your own clients.
• Over 3 hours 20 minutes of content separated into 36 chapters.
• Learn how to create a 'studio' environment anywhere!
• Comprehensive coverage of studio lighting systems.
• Shot in full HD on Canon 5Dmk2 cameras.
• Edited in real time to show each set up from the start to the finish.
• Includes guidance on composition, posing and picture design.
• Full of advice, handy tips, and technical information.
• No props were used in the entire tutorial except a stool.

Why you should invest in this video tutorial
We are extremely aware that most photographer's training budgets are very tight these days and every penny counts. Training video downloads have become the most affordable ways of improving your photographic knowledge without breaking the bank. Whether you are a seasoned professional or are just thinking about a change of career, this video has something for everyone.
Whilst we all know that you cannot beat practical experience when it comes to learning and improving your technical skills, sometimes all you need is to learn are just a few small repeatable tips and tricks to make your photography easier with better results. Better results help to keep your clients coming back for more and recommending you to their friends. More clients means more profit for you and your business, and that can't be a bad thing.
The download option is a series of Quicktime movies in 720P HD format and will play on any computer or mobile device in any part of the world.
Kirk Bouknight: I think you are a wonderful photographer but you are also an extremely good teacher. There are many great photographers but far fewer great teachers.
I am a novice photographer only shooting a few years now. I have a passion for it though and I study the craft constantly. I have been mentored by several top notch professional photographers and although I did learn from the experiences, I learned more solid information from you after the first part of your tutorial than I did from several all-day photo-shoot sessions with these other top professionals. Thank you for presenting such important information in such a concise and clear presentation. I will forever be your student. Thanks.

I'd like to play the entire download collection as one seamless video, how can I do this?
When you download the entire collection you will get a zipped folder containing 36 individual video files. To play these as one seamless video just open up iTunes and add all the video files to a playlist. Hit play and enjoy. (iTunes can be downloaded free for all mac and pc users :)
Using this method you can juggle the order of the playlist, or even create own favourite chapter collections of say, 1 light tutorials, 2 light tutorials etc.
Can I play this on my iPad or iPhone?
Simply drag the downloaded files into an iTunes playlist then sync it with your iPhone or iPad in the usual way. Simples!
How big is the download? How long will it take?
Once bought the collection can be download in 4 parts. Parts 1, 2, 3 & 4 are all less than 1gb each. So please expect it to take several hours to download completely. Download speeds depend on your internet service provider. We recommend downloading one part at a time.
If my internet cuts out and the download fails to complete, what do I do? Where do I find the download link again?
In this situation you will need to try and download again. To find the download link again; log into your member account using the username and password you've provided and navigate to 'My Orders' under the 'Members' tab. Go to the details of your last order.
Will the download restart if it stops?
This depends on your browser, some will restart from the beginning some will start where they stopped. Go to your downloads window, hit restart and see what happens.
To find the download link again; log into your member account using the username and password you've provided and navigate to 'My Orders' under the 'Members' tab. Go to the details of your last order.
My internet is not fast, do you recommend buying the complete download collection?
If you are aware that your internet speed is not fast, and would like the download option, we recommend purchasing each individual chapter separately, enabling you to download the complete collection in smaller bites. This will be a slightly more expensive option and is only recommended if you've previously not been able to download large (1gb) files without issue.
