Which version of the disc do I need?

Blu-Ray discs can hold up to 50 times the amount of information that DVDs can store. They do this by dividing the disk into as many as 20 strata layers and using a focussing blue laser to read the layered data. The upshot of this is we can deliver a feature length true high definition video production to you for nearly the same price as the standard definition compressed DVD version.

The Blu-Ray version of Speedlight Mastery is region free meaning any Blu-Ray player, including Sony Playstation 3s anywhere in the world can play the Speedlight Mastery disc. Blu-Ray Players are now available at Amazon from just £90 and the difference in quality between compressed standard definition DVD and clean full HD is staggering. Sony Playstation 3 consoles are available from Amazon too and are under £250. A Playstation 3 will play Blu-Ray discs, DVDs and CDs as well as fantastic computer games so why not treat the family this Christmas :)

The DVD version of Speedlight Mastery is in the PAL format and is in a 16x9 widescreen aspect ratio.

Both the DVD and Blu-Ray discs are copy protected and packaged securely in our high quality custom made cases.

Who is 'Speedlight Mastery' for?

This video is for any photographer who uses or wants to use Speedlights on location. It doesn't matter if you have just one flash because several of the set ups show how to use a single Speedlight creatively to take striking portraits on location. When you are ready to move on to more complicated set ups Damien shows how to break down the rig and lighting design into easy chunks.
Damien shows exactly how he designs a picture from scratch deciding upon background, lens choice, shooting position, and framing before he goes on to set up the Speedlights. Once the lighting is rigged he brings in his model and shows how he evolves the shoot, working with his model to get the look he wants.
