Who should attend?

If your work includes digital editing and post production, or even if you are unsure when to stop editing, Marko's classes could be just what you have been looking for. It can be frustrating when you have read every guide, tried every technique and yet still find your editing progressing slowly. If this sounds familiar, then Marko is on hand to help you achieve that balance of a great finish met with the utmost of ease, his ethos is that editing techniques can be quick, simple and still result in a gorgeous looking image.

What you will learn

1. Loads of timesaving methods of working, as well as an insight into the complete Lovegrove workflow.

2. How to edit and achieve many looks in photoshop a lot more simply than you thought possible.

3. Learn how to get the very best out of printing labs.

We guarantee that after a day with Marko you will be able to breathe new life into your photos.

What you need to bring with you

Although you do not need to bring anything with you, we ask that each delegate posts a selection of unedited images (preferably in the RAW format) to Marko before the day of each class, 10 images for the Starterclass, 20 for the Masterclass and 20 for the Advanced Class. Marko will then guide you through the whole process of taking these images to the next level. If you wish, you can also send or bring a few edited images in order to gain feedback on the day about your current methods.

Marko's - Get effective with Adobe Lightroom™

A foundation level post-production training day using Adobe Lightroom

Location: Lovegrove Studio

This day will cover all the things that really matter in Adobe Lightroom™ to get the best out of your files and be efficient at the same time. If you are new to raw shooting, or have limited digital manipulation knowledge then this day will be an ideal foundation.

The basics of colour management will be covered as well as presets and many other time-saving techniques. Marko will be using Lightroom 2 on the day but if you have the previous version it's not a problem.

We will invite you to send us 10 raw or jpeg files before the day and Marko will take your files through the Lightroom process. Afterwards, you will also receive all the Lightroom presets used and demonstrated on the day by e-mail.

We have created a dedicated training space to deliver this vital knowledge to just 4 delegates at a time ensuring all questions will be answered and individual delegate needs met.

Marko's - Get effective with Adobe Photoshop™

A foundation level post-production training day using Adobe Photoshop

On this one day Adobe Photoshop™ seminar you will learn how to manage your files, how to bring your images to life, and how to get started with Photoshop actions. We will also cover how to make advanced adjustments like body reshaping, skin softening, face lifts and perspective correction. Most of all, you will learn how to work efficiently and how to get great prints from your lab.

Marko keeps all the Photoshop editing techniques simple, uncomplicated and quick. Even if you have some experience you might want to simplify and speed up the methods you are using at the moment. The day is designed for those using the full version of Photoshop (CS,CS2, CS3, CS4). We will invite you to send us 10 of your own images as raw, jpg, tiff or psd before the day and Marko will take your files through the Photoshop process.

This day is limited to 4 delegates. You will also receive the set of Lovegrove Photoshop actions used and demonstrated on the day by e-mail afterwards.

A post-production training day ideal for previous delegates wanting to go over problem areas or revisit our editing approach and techniques.

Or would you just like to give your post-production process a bit of a spring-clean? If any of your answers are yes, then we have specifically created this day just for you. The day will cover both Lightroom & Photoshop and can be adapted to suit delegates needs.

The day will start at 9am and finish at 3pm with groups limited to just 4 delegates. All of Marko's editing techniques are still simple, uncomplicated and quick. We will again invite you to send us approx. 5 of your own images as raw, jpg, tiff or psd before the day. Marko will give you back your editing confidence and all the tools necessary to take your pictures to the next level.

A 1 day mid-level digital post-production seminar using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Marko's masterclass is our most popular training option. The masterclass will be an intermediate-level training seminar covering both Lightroom and Photoshop. You will learn how to manage your files from camera to client, how to bring them to life using advanced adjustments like body reshaping, skin softening, face lifts and perspective correction. Most of all you will learn how to work efficiently and how to get great prints from your lab. All delegates will receive the complete set of Lovegrove Photoshop actions. Please bring up to 20 of your own images and Marko will show you how he can make them look the best they possibly can.

A 1 day intensive advanced digital post-production seminar using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Price: 1-to-2 rate £300 (£352.50 incl. 17.5% VAT)
No. of delegates: 2 (max.)
Available dates: Monday 15th March 2010

Here you will need to bring up to 20 of your own images (RAW files) that Marko will help you edit and to give you the confidence to get the most out of each picture. We expect you to be already using Lightroom for this workshop and will have experience and an understanding of Photoshop actions. All delegates will receive the complete set of Lovegrove Photoshop actions. This workshop is limited to just two delegates and will be far more intensive than the original Masterclass. You will end the day feeling reinvigorated and full of enthusiam in the knowledge that you can create attention-grabbing images that showcase your creativity at its best.
