Do you struggle when selecting which pictures to show your client? Do you show them far too many? Or perhaps you worry that you’re not showing your clients enough? In this eye opening part of the day, Julie will show you the psychology behind the crucial process of selecting the pictures that sell.

Julie will go through your very own images with you, and you will see which she would choose to show your clients, and which she would reject and for what reasons. Julie is very tough on herself and Damien when choosing their own images, so be prepared for some constructive criticism! She will then take you through the system we use to change the order, re-number, and backup the final selection.

Show album selection

Next, Julie will make a selection of your images that will make the best possible show album.  You may bring a selection of weddings with you and she will advise which one to use.

The art of good album design

The second half of this workshop will be dedicated to taking the selected images and learning how to create a beautiful and contemporary layout in an album that will stand the test of time. You will learn the guidelines that Marko always works within to ensure that your album has the added polish that will give you the edge over your competition.

What you will have to take away with you

A wealth of knowledge to make your life easier in the future, and a complete show album design. :)  Marko uses JAD (Jorgenson Album Designer), but the workshop is open to anybody who wants tuition in the art of designing a show album. The underlying aesthetic principles are the same and afterwards we will email you a finished show album in pdf format so that you can recreate the layout.
