Inverter Power Packs with Lovegrove Canvas Shoulder Bags
The Lovegrove battery shoulder packs with integral inverters are designed with photographers and filmmakers in mind. They can be used to power lighting, cameras, sound recording equipment and battery chargers. These versatile packs integrate the best sealed lead acid battery technology with super efficient modified sine wave inverters. They are safe and easy to use.
The inverter sits outside the battery bag to allow the heat sink to operate normally. A gap of 10mm between the inverter and the ground means it can be placed on a wet pavement and operate safely. The inverter is attached directly to the battery through an aperture in the bag using high performance Velcro. The battery is user replaceable without the need for tools. (Some high strength, self adhesive loop Velcro will be required for the new battery)
The 300w inverter has an integral fan. It is not loud, but the sound would be picked up by omni microphones making it less suitable for use with video making. The 150w inverter has no fan and is silent in operation.
Charging is via the 4 pole XLR flying lead. The Ctek 800 battery charger is available separately. A full charge from empty with the Ctek takes about 8 hours. The wiring of the 4 pole XLR socket is industry standard with pin 4+ positive and pin 1- negative. Several leads are available separately including XLR extensions, cigar socket converters and in car chargers etc.
