The Broncolor Fresnel attachment is available here.
£327.83 (£279 excl. VAT). The UK's best price guaranteed.
The pictures on this page show the intricate construction of the Broncolor
Fresnel lens. The carefully structured texture on the rear of the lens
provides a beautifully diffused soft edge to the spot of light it
creates. The size of the spot it controlled by moving the lens relative to the Mobil head.
The
diagram on the left shows how much thinner a Fresnel lens is to it's
equivalent regular convex lens. Convex lenses also have a tendency to
suffer from chromatic aberration. This type of lens has been used in
stage, film and TV lighting since the 30's and it is still very much
use today.

Broncolor Fresnel spot attachment information:
As you would expect with Broncolor kit this Fresnel lens adapter is very well made. It comes with a replacement safety glass for the front of the Mobil head. This new glass is frosted and provides an even source of light for the Fresnel lens to focus. I have found that I leave the frosted glass in one of my heads permanently.
At just £279 plus VAT this unit delivers a lot of quality illumination for it's price.
With virtually no spill outside the beam angle this device makes the perfect back light without risk of lens flare. It is also lightweight and is suited to being rigged high up on lighting stands.
The spring loaded focusing arms provide the perfect amount of friction
to keep the lens in place even when the unit is rigged vertically.
