What is a Fashion Fusion workshop?

This training day will be a fashion workshop lit using continuous tungsten spot lights and natural daylight. There will be no speedlights! No flash! Just beautiful Hollywood light. The aim of the day is to create artwork that can hang in the home. Expand your portfolio on this lighting workshop featuring a wardrobe supplied by the fabulous London based designer - Diva Corsets. Continuous light will continue on its way to become the dominant kit of choice for wedding and portrait photographers in the near future so here is our new dedicated workshop to get us underway.

Workshop specification:

• 1 tutor (Damien Lovegrove)
• 5 delegates (Canon or Nikon Shooters welcome)
• 1 professional model: Chloe-Jasmine (featured in images):
• 1 make-up artist: Vicki W
• 1 dress supplier: Diva Corsets

What will I learn?

A wide range of lighting techniques and skills will be demonstrated on this exclusive training day, including:

• Using natural daylight
• Using continuous tungsten lighting (battery and mains lighting)

Who should attend?

This workshop is recommended for portrait photographers who wish to expand their creative abilities. All participants should be familiar with how to operate their cameras.

What you will have at the end of the day to take away:

1. You will be shooting portfolio images you can use right away, on your website, in brochures or on your studio walls. The models we use are professionals and will be patient with us.
2. You will have a new repertoire of high impact lighting styles with the confidence to reproduce fantastic images on your own. This workshop will give you the edge over your competition and you will feel a renewed excitement for location shooting.

09.30 Meet at Maunsel House. Kit check and introduction.
10.00 Shooting session 1.
11.00 Coffee break.
11.30 Shooting session 2.
13.00 Lunch.
14.00 Shooting session 3.
15.30 Tea break.
16.00 Shooting session 4.
17:30 Wrap.

Recommended kit list:

1. A DSLR camera.
2. Two or three lenses covering approx. 17mm to 200mm.
3. A monopod, or you can borrow Damien's spare one on advanced request.
4. Camera cards and batteries.
(Damien will provide the model and all the lighting equipment.)
