Day Three - Wednesday 29th September
Marko's Wedding Post Production Seminar
An all-in-one easy to understand post-production training day.
This day will give you all the tools necessary to start editing and to
create beautifully edited imagery that your customers will love. This
day will give you an insight into the complete Lovegrove digital
workflow. It will cover all the things that really
matters when processing and colour correcting your images to
get the best out of your files and be super efficient
at the same time. If you are new to raw shooting, or
have limited digital manipulation knowledge then this day
will be an ideal foundation.
This day will also cover using Adobe Photoshop, where you
will learn how to manage
your
files, how to bring your images to life, and how to get
started with Photoshop
actions. If we have time we will also cover how to make
advanced adjustments
like body
reshaping, skin softening, face lifts and perspective
correction. We have a superb dedicated training space to
deliver this vital
knowledge to the delegates ensuring all questions will be
answered and individual delegate needs met.

Forming the building blocks:
You will learn loads of timesaving methods of working
including the basics of colour management, as
well as creating presets. Marko keeps all the
editing
techniques simple, uncomplicated and quick. Even if you have
some
experience you might want to simplify and speed up the
methods you are
using at the moment. The day will use latest Adobe Lightroom
and Adobe Photoshop software, but all techniques are relevant if you
use CS, CS2, CS3 and CS4.

What you will take away
from the day:
Afterwards,
you will also receive all the Lightroom presets and
Photoshop actions used and
demonstrated
on the day. Bring a USB stick if you have one, or otherwise
we can give it to you on our own blank Lovegrove DVDs.
This day will be opened up to photographers not attending the full 3 days.

More information:
Please bring
along all the kit you would normally use when shooting a
wedding,
including wet weather gear (although we hope it won't be
necessary!) as
of course we all know weddings have to go ahead regardless
of the
weather! Damien and Julie always use a monopod at weddings,
and will be
using them throughout the day. If you don't have one it will
be
worthwhile borrowing or buying one before the course as you
may well
find it frustrating to have movement on your images shot in
low light.
If this is the case, do ensure you have a plate on the
bottom of your
camera to fix it to the monopod! Our advice is "If in doubt -
bring it"
as it would be frustrating to be without something.

More images from some of our latest
workshops can be found in a gallery
here.

Recommended Kit List:
1.
A DSLR camera with two or three professional lenses covering
17mm to
200mm. When booking your
place please state in 'additional information' what camera
kit you'll
be using (ie Canon/Nikon).
2. One
TTL flash gun with a Sto-Fen or similar diffuser. preferably
with a means of using it off camera. For Nikon
users without a pop up flash, an SU800 will do the job of a
commander or you can use a second Speedlight set up as a
master, and for
Canon
users an STE2 is ideal or a second 500 series Speedlight can
be set up as a master.
3. A bag you can dip in and out of to change lenses as
required.
4. A monopod with a ball and socket head (not a monopod
head), fast lens, or a camera capable of very high ISO.
5. Suitable clothing.
Location:
All three days will be held at: Stonehouse
Court Hotel, Bristol Road,
